Opto-Electronics in Semiconductor Quantum Wells

We present our investigations of the novel nonlinear optical properties seen in III-V Quantum Wells Structures when electrostatic field are used to change the absorption directly or by driving electrons in and out the QW. We review the applications of these processes to prototype optoelectronic devices.
