Palladium Nickel Alloy Electroplating.
18 January 1989
A palladium-nickel alloy electroplating process has been developed which can plate PdNi alloys of varying composition (90-10 to 50-50 %w) at variable current densities (1mA/cm sup 2), and is thus applicable to low, medium and high speed electroplating operations. The chemistry is simple and does not use organic additives to obtain desired physical properties. This paper will discuss the chemistry and a low speed operation which plates a 75-25 %w PdNi alloy.
