Passive Components Technologies '89

Technologies useful for passive photonic signal processing are categorized as integrated optic, microoptic or all-fiber optic. Passive components using these technologies are useful for attenuating, isolating and filtering in two-port devices; and low-speed switching, power splitting, wavelength division multiplexing and demultiplexing, signal injecting and tapping, and directional coupling in multi-port devices.
