Personal computers, PCs, require special security considerations, due to their proliferation, accessibility, and mobile nature. This presentation addresses the PC security issues of: physical protection, data integrity, data access controls, data backup, PC networking, and computer viruses. In addition, this presentation provides a global overview of AT&T Bell Laboratories and identifies the 4526 contribution to Bell Labs computing.
