Performance and Cost Evaluation of Large-Scale Optical Switch Node Architectures for Space Multiplexed Networks

We propose and simulate an enhanced 2-stage distributed Clos topology for optical spatial-division multiplexed networks that leads to a reduction of up to 100% in blocking probability and compare port count and performance to baseline architectures.
