Performance Improvements of Different Modulation Formats by Applying Adaptive Electronic Equalisation in 43 Gbit/s Systems

The system tolerance improvements by analog electronic equalisation have been experimentally evaluated for different 43 Gbit/s modulation formats (OOK, DPSK, PSBT). Up to 70% higher DGD and 60% higher CD tolerance has been achieved.
