Performance of a Minimally Replicated Distributed DB for UPT

Universal Personal Telecommunications (UPT) is a proposed service which allow an individual subscriber to be reached with a single personal telephone number (PTN) at home, at the office, at a mobile phone, at an answering service, or elsewhere, depending on caller privileges assigned by the subscriber. To route a UPT call, the PTN must be converted to a routable destination number.
