Planetary Scale Patterns of Parkinson Planes at Long Periods: the 'Parkplanoids'
The planes of polarization (Parkinson planes) of the geomagnetic field (averaged over the 5 international quiet days of each month) for each of 4 long period waves (24, 12, 8 and 6 hours, respt.) have been considered as deep conductors in the Earth. The stability of such 'Parkinson plane' at each given site (~ 64) has been investigated as a function of time for 18 months.
