Process Characterization as an Integral Part of Design for Manufacture

The process of implementing a complete design for manufacture program has required the change in many established ideas and procedures. New concepts and methods are needed to develop a workable system. The talk will discuss these issues and the program for implementing effective design for manufacture in surface mount design and manufacture. Some specific examples will be discussed.
