Proposed Forward of Telephony's Dictionary, Second Edition

Much had been, and much more will be written about the revolution in telecommunications and the coming of the 'Information Age'. Today, the major topic in conferences and the technical press is ISDN. A short time ago it was 'divestiture'. These are but two examples of advances or changes that are filling the literature with new terms, abbreviations, acronyms and even old familiar terms being used in new ways.
