Quality of Service Architectures for Wireless Networks: Performance Metrics and Management

This book intends to present a comprehensive collection of QoS mechanisms for various access technologies, which will include 20-30 chapters. In early chapters, introductions to existing and traditional approach to traffic management such as Quality of Service (DiffServ and IntServ) will be considered. Gradually in later chapters, unified and more recent QoS schemes will be developed. In final chapters, newly presented QoS architectures for coexistance of multiple access technologies such as OFDMA, CDMA, and other technologies will be covered.
