Radio Resource Sharing among Operators through MIMO based Spatial Multiplexing in 5G Systems

Extending frequency resources is one of the measures to satisfy the upcoming data demand of the users in wireless networks. A frequency pool for broadband data delivery can be provided by sharing concepts between operators. In this work, we propose a novel sharing solution based on the multi-user MIMO approach in which both operators share also the same base station. So they can use the frequency resources simultaneously without additional signalling for sharing purposes. Further in this work we present basic solutions for achieving resource fairness and rate fairness among the sharing operators.
