We have measured the Raman spectra of superconducting single crystals, A sub 2 B Cu sub 3 0 sub x with A = Ba, Sr, Ca and B = Y, rare earth, between 100 and 800 cm sup -1. The data provide information about the normal mode assignments of the phonon bands, oxygen-vacancy disorder and the dependence of structure on composition.
