Real-Time Implementation of Linear Spectrograms for the Characterization of High Bit-Rate Optical Pulse Trains

The complete characterization of 40 Gb/s train of optical pulses is performed in real time using spectrograms. This tool competes very favorably with electronic sampling scopes in terms of bandwidth and is used for real-time optimization.
