RELATIVE-INTENSITY-NOISE TRANSFER IN FORWARD-PUMPING RAMAN

Forward-Raman-pump-to-signal RIN transfer using a Raman fiber laser pump is measured and analyzed. For the first time, we point out the necessity of considering the polarization dependence of Raman gain in the RIN transfer calculation.
