Reliable Broadband Communication for Users on High Speed Trains based on Cloud Computing
31 May 2011
We consider a novel cloudbased highspeed train communication (CHSTC) system framework for providing broadband services to highly mobile users that integrates collectively located BBUs (BBU cloud), multiple RRHs with coordinated frequency reuse, and efficient ICI cancellation via transmit beamforming. Both analysis and simulation results show that the new architecture and algorithms are suitable for highspeed train communication and can provide a data rate of more than 100Mbps for passengers at a speed of 450km/h. This would guarantee satisfactory mobile broadband services for today's high speed train passengers.
