Research on Enhancement Downlink Transmission Technique for SU-MIMO System

In wireless communication systems, the base station can get the spatial multiplexing and beamforming gain respectively by choosing the appropriate downlink transmission mode(TM) for different spatial wireless channel character. In LTE-A SU-MIMO, the different pre-coding strategy based on codebook or beaforming way would bring evidently bettter downlink communication quality, so it¡¯s necessary to research the character of pre-coding technology to consummate the LTE-A system design. The improvement of dual codebook feature in LTE-A SU-MIMO are analysised due to the UE payload¡¢algorithm complexity and the channel character respectively. The effective throughput are quantitative evaluated for LTE-A with link level simulation, and the result also shows that the codebook scheme can get better throughput performance than beaforming way.
