Revisiting LTE LAA: Channel access, QoS, and Coexistence with Wi-Fi

Operators are looking towards LTE-LAA as a cheap solution to the capacity problem. However, operation in unlicensed bands requires coexistence, especially with Wi-Fi networks. Existing literature has analyzed the problem of coexistence between these two technologies but the impact of LTE-LAA transmissions with QoS provisioning enabled on Wi-Fi performance in an experimental setting has not yet been demonstrated.
