A linear correlation analysis study is reported between geomagnetically- induced voltage variations on the transatlantic TAT-6 telecommunications cable and magnetic field fluctuations recorded at two stations located on the mid-Atlantic ridge and its prolongation, Leirvogur, Iceland, and Crozet in the Indian Ocean.
