Self-Organization in Drift Wave Turbulence

Based on the model equations of electroelastic turbulence in a cylindrical plasma, the potential profile which appears as a consequence of the self-organization of drift wave turbulence is predicted and compared with the three-dimensional numerical simulations. This process produces an axis symmetric potential profile with no variation in the axial direction.
