For 20-MHz converter simulation, semiconductor nonlinear C- V and I-V characteristics must be modeled because they represent circuit elements which control circuit behavior. We describe models, give model equations and parameter-extraction methods, show excellent model fit to measurement, and apply the models to compute diode loss vs temperature of a rectifier.
