Service Creation in an Intelligent Network World

Creating services in an Intelligent Network environment will be very different from today's traditional process. A powerful, user-friendly, integrated Service Creation Environment (SCE) will support service creation in a development laboratory environment. This environment will let the developer concentrate on the service creation process, not on the intricacies of program development. A set of Application-Oriented Languages (AOL's) will provide a high-level programming interface for describing services. The SCE will know the development process and be able to assist the developer. It will perform actions for the users and steer them through the development process.
