Spectrally Efficient Transmission of 1-Tb/s PDM-32QAM Superchannels under constraints of legacy optical networks

We report on spectrally efficient transmission of 1Tb/s superchannels occupying 150 GHz slots. Using standard 50 GHz grid WSS, we assess the impact of filtering stemming from add/drop nodes over 1Tb/s superchannels with 6.9-bit/s/Hz spectral efficiency.
