Spectroscopy of two-dimensional hole gases in GaAs-(AlGa)As heterostructures.
01 January 1986
We report an investigation of resonant inelastic light scattering by high mobility 2D hole systems in multiple GaAs-(AlGa)As quantum well heterostructures. These measurements allow the study of elementary excitations of 2D hole gases and of the valence subband structure of the quantum wells. We have investigated the effects of temperature changes, of external uniaxial stress and of high magnetic fields.
