Stability Analysis of a Digitally-Controlled Battery Plant
01 January 2000
Digital control is now being applied to control the plant voltage and current sharing among paralleled rectifiers in a telecommunications battery plant application. To ensure robust performance and maintain the reliability of the plant under a variety of different operating conditions, the stability of the system needs to be known. We provide such an analysis and also provide design criteria that can lead to optimal time response of the current-sharing loop in the battery plant.
