Stand-Alone Protocol Handler Test Environment

A stand-alone test environment was created to test the 5ESS TM Switch ISDN Packet Switching Feature code. The code executes on the loosely coupled hierarchical environment of the 5ESS Switch. The stand-alone approach worked on this project because most of the code developed for the Packet Switching Feature executes on a single processor within the hierarchy and that code has limited interactions with other processors. That single processor is l known as the Protocol Handler.
