Standards for Electromagnetic Emissions from Home Appliances

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has expressed concern about increasing interference to AM broadcasting. NAB believes that AM listening is decreasing due to the profliferation of electromagnetic noise sources such as RF lighting devices, light dimmers,home computing devices and other home and commerical electric applicances which are raising the ambient noise levels in the Am broadcast frequency range.
