Superconducting Properties of a Angstroms Phase of Ba-Y-Cu- O.
01 January 1988
High purity (>97%) samples of a 27angstroms phase of Y-Ba- Cu-O have been prepared in thin films on (100)SrTiO sub 3 . Individual A-centered (or B-centered) domains with Ammm symmetry are observed in this phase by transmission electron microscopy. These highly pure samples allow for unambiguous determination that this phase is superconducting with an onset T sub c of 82K and T sub c (R=0) of 79K.
