Superconductivity in Ba (Pb,Bi) O(3).

An extensive single-crystal study of BaPb(1-x)Bi(x)O(3) over the whole composition range provides new insight in understanding the high superconducting transition temperature in thin oxide. Superconductivity with narrow transitions is observed only at x=0.25, where the carrier concentration is 2.4 10(21) cm (-3).
