Superlattices in quenched Al-Si-Mn quasicrystals.

Melt quenched Al74Si6Mn20 and Al72Si6Mn22 alloys were found to exhibit quasicrystal characteristics of icosahedral point group symmetry with quasilattice parameter larger by the golden mean pi than that observed in Al86Mn14 quasicrystals.
