Surface positrons and the many positron, many electron system.
01 January 1984
I got started in positron physics as an undergraduate working with Martin Deutsch. I first came to visit Brandeis at about the same time that Steve came here. Ultimately, I didn't join Brandeis, instead I went to Bell Labs and did other things. However, over the years Steve and I seem to meet at almost every meeting. He would always tell me that positrons were good for doing physics and I kept saying x-rays were better. We have had these discussions many times. Then he really did it to me. In 1975 he sent me Allen Mills, presumably to work with me, but now I'm not so sure, which brings me to the subject of my talk.
