System-Level Design Verification in the AT&T Computer Division: Overview and Strategy

This paper presents the experience of the Computer Division within AT&T Data System Group in the area of System-level computer-aided design verification. Specifically, this paper will provide an overview of our motivations, processes, tools and results. This material reflects the knowledge we have acquired over fourteen years of computer design. Perhaps others will benefit from this experience.
