T1 Networking

I received an invitation from the Technical Advisory Committee of Electronic Research & Services Organization (ERSO) of Taiwan to talk about the T1 Networking. ERSO is a semi-official organization funded jointly by the Taiwan Government and some local industries. The ERSO's main charter is to design, research, and develop electronic devices and equipment for the computer and communication industries in Taiwan. In addition, a newly formed Telecommunication Division of ERSO is responsible to work with Telecommunication Ministry (PTT equivalent) to evaluate and recommend the proper vendors on the communication equipment. The Technical Advisory Committee of ERSO composes about twenty electronics, computer, and telecommunication professionals from the United States and is headed by Dr. W.Y. Pang - a retired RCA Solid State Director. Dr. Pang is also a Science Advisor to the Prime Minister of Taiwan.
