Technical Specification for Beamline X16A

This presentation to the National Synchrotron Light Source safety review panel at Brookhaven National Lab will cover topics of engineering design, experimental design, planned research work and operational modes of the x-ray beamline 16A. The beamline is a focused monochromatic design supplying a 4-circle diffractometer compatible with Ultra High Vaccum. The planned experimental program concerns x-ray crystallography of metal and semiconductor surfaces and overlayers.
