Technical Writing in the 21st Century --- New Challenges for Authors

In this article, an update is presented for modern technical writing using electronic text processing. A general philosophy is expressed followed by some examples of common errors that purvey the literature. The goal is to encourage literate, consistent, and readily comprehensible technical writing, in order to promote better communication.
