Telegraph system planning

Possible systems are reviewed and their facilities and costs complared. The basic methods of operation, manual relay, tape relay and automatic switching are considered and their traffic capacity, efficiency and general requirements summarized. A plan is set out, based on these facts, covering 3 phases : analysis of traffic data, and preliminary and fianl circuit layouts.
