Temperature-Sensitive Long-Period Fiber-Gratings for Wideband Tunable Filters

We present a new type of long-period fiber gratins with enhanced temperature sensitivity of 80 nm/100C via the use of specially-designed polymer. Structures are presented which should enable broadly tunable filters for communications systems.
