Test patterns for time synchronization with partial timing support

The PTP (Precision time protocol) profile for partial timing support, ITU-T G.8275.2 was consented in February 2016. The corresponding packet delay network limits and specifications have been under development since. Similarly, as the network limits for frequency synchronization have been developed, the same applies for time synchronization with partial timing support. The paper discusses these limits and corresponding test patterns.
