Test set for recording impulses

The set was designed as a portable unit for the examination of the form and length of switching impulses in telephone systems. The pulses deflect a needle across a waxed tape moving at about 10 in./sec, with a time base printed mechanically at the same time, the accuracy being 2 msec. The amplifier circuit is given.
