The Annotated C++ Reference Manual

This introductory chapter contains the introduction section of the C++ reference manual and demonstrates the mechanisms for presenting commentary to the reference manual proper. The commentary section summarizes the evolution of the C++ programming language and lists the people who took part in the 1989 review of the C++ reference manual.
