The Comparison Approach to Multiprocessor Fault Diagnosis

In this paper, a system-level, comparison-based strategy for detecting faulty processors in a multiprocessor system will be described. Unlike other strategies which have been proposed in the literature, the comparison approach does not rely on unrealistic assumptions about the system under consideration.
