This seminar introduces the 2STP as an example of a high speed packet switch in a CCS7 network. In addition to the MTP message transfer, the 2STP handles SCCP routing, known as Global Title Translation, and will interface to other CCS7 networks. The 2STP handles these functions with a combination of distributed and central processing.
