The cable cutoff wavelengths of depressed-cladding fibers in Lightpack(tm) and ribbon cables have been measured. The average cable cutoff wavelengths are 75 nm and 86 nm less than the average 2-meter fiber cutoffs for Lightpack and ribbon cables, respectively. The cutoff wavelength shift standard deviations are 10 nm for Lightpack and 17 nm for ribbon cables.
