The Use of Group Procedures in Evaluation
Through both simulated evaluation problems and lecture, participants will learn the advantages and tradeoffs in choosing among the following group-based procedures as evaluation tools: critical incident technique, nominal group technique (traditional and enhanced), focus group, and computer--supported decision conference. Participants will also conduct a simulated group using one of these techniques. The session is intended for individuals who face a variety of evaluation circumstances requiring a repertoire of evaluation tools.
