The use of Synchrotron Sources at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

This is a talk given at the First Annual Users Meeting for the Advanced Photon Source which was held at Argonne National Laboratory in November 1986 and the report will appear in the proceedings. The strong commitment of AT&T Bell Laboratories scientists to the use of high brightness x-ray sources from the early work at SSRL and CHESS to the present Participating Research Teams at the National Synchrotron Light Source at Brookhaven National Laboratory is reviewed and a summary of recent work at NSLS is given. Some possible uses of the APS are suggested.
