Thermodynamic Aspects of II-VI OMVPE

The use of equilibrium thermodynamics as a basis for analysis of results obtained in the OMVPE growth of III-V compounds, especially solid- vapor distribution coefficients, has been well established. In this talk I will discuss the results extending this treatment to the ternary II- VI compounds, and show that this equilibrium approach satisfactorily predicts the distribution coefficients in the ZnSeS, CdZnTe and HgCdTe systems.
