With a newly completed instrument, which utilizes the dispersion compensation technique, we can perform time-resolved-electron-energy-loss spectroscopy (TREELS) of adsorbed species. This instrument is capable of high resolution (`10 meV FWHM) measurements of vibrational spectra on the millisecond time scale.
