Two-photon spectroscopy of 7snd autoionizing states of barium.

The 7snd autoionizing states of barium have been studied by two-photon excitation from the 6snd Rydberg states. An analysis of our low intensity, electron energy-resolved data reveals no systematic energy shifts in the spectra of the 7snd states as a function of the initial value of the principal quantum number n.
