Uncertainty Aware Performance Monitoring for Elastic Optical Networks

We propose a metric for performance monitoring which unifies several existing quality metrics. The new metric presents several advantages such as the reduction of stored and transmitted data, low controlled accuracy, minimal monitoring time and a high dynamic range of performance regimes.
