This paper presents an universal analog signal conditioning approach for switch-mode power amplifiers. A novel RF-PWM is realized on PCB, that works with a single RF input. The modulation-inherent distortion is compensated by a special predistortion, so that ACLR1 and ACLR2 is better than 45 dB and 50 dB, respectively. The different arcitectures are compared in terms of ACLR, EVM, coding efficiency and channel power. Great coding efficiencies over 80 % are demonstrated. UMTS standard compliant measure-ments are shown for a frequency range from 400 MHz to 3 GHz
